--- ## Community Guidelines Our community operates on principles of respect, accessibility, and agency. ### Respect - **Listen to understand**, not just to respond - **Assume good faith** - most disagreements aren't personal - **Respect lived experience** - credentials aren't required for valid input - **Honor boundaries** - if someone says "not for me," believe them ### Accessibility - **Plain language welcome** - not everyone speaks tech - **Multiple formats accepted** - text, audio, whatever works - **Pacing flexibility** - not everyone can respond quickly - **Accommodations available** - ask and we'll try to help ### Agency - **Participation is voluntary** - no obligation beyond what you choose - **Opinions are your own** - you represent yourself, not a group - **Exit is always available** - you can step back anytime - **Attribution is respected** - your contributions credited as you prefer ### What We Don't Accept - Personal attacks or harassment - Discrimination based on any identity - Dismissing input because of who it comes from - Corporate astroturfing or undisclosed conflicts
