Fact-Checking Directory
This directory contains documentation and checklists for fact-checking claims made throughout the HAIEF website and documentation.
Purpose
To maintain accuracy and credibility, all significant claims made in HAIEF documentation should be fact-checked and verified with credible sources. This directory tracks:
- Claims that need verification
- Research status
- Sources and citations
- Discrepancies or concerns
Files
- research-checklist.md - Main checklist of claims requiring fact-checking
How to Use
- Review the checklist regularly
- Research each claim with multiple credible sources
- Document your findings with sources
- Update the checklist as items are verified
- Flag any discrepancies for team review
Contributing
If you find a claim in HAIEF documentation that seems questionable or needs verification, please:
- Submit a fact-check request via the online form
- Add it to the research-checklist.md
- Open an issue in the GitHub repository
- Contact the team at haief@neuroliftsolutions.com
Priority
Focus on claims that are:
- Central to HAIEF’s mission and messaging
- Most likely to be questioned by skeptics
- Related to specific numbers, dates, or events
- About real-world harms or impacts
- Technical or implementation-related
Accuracy builds trust, and trust is essential for a governance movement.
